Nicole — Having read through earlier drafts of this book, I am much gratified to see that it is “done” — though we both know the story behind the book is still unfolding and that miracles still happen (like the suitcase miracle!). Soon the lads will be touring with you across mountains and valleys — just little reminders of those mountains and valleys in our daily lives. Indeed, we tend, when we are on the mountaintop or in the valley, to think that our future will be just what we are seeing today — and yet our journey continues to reveal ever newer surprises as we give ourselves away in order to attain the highest form of life.

Yeah, I agree. It’s being constructive. It’s being creative. It’s living life and taking risks. You climb a mountain, risking serious injury, just to enjoy the view. Is it worth it? Yes it is because you won’t see a view like that again.

You’ll fall and you’ll fail too. Only a narcissist assumes they never make a mistake. But falling makes you appreciate flying all the more doesn’t it?

Time moves like a soft breeze on a summer day. Imperceptibly easing your discomfort. It’s only when it’s gone that you appreciate what you had, and by then it’s too late.

It’s a caterpillar, born in a barn, climbing to the rooftops. It’s a cow owning a burger joint. Or maybe it’s just a robot cat coming to terms with it’s existence. =)
